Johnny Chang, Age 17

A young man is leading a group to safety from a contaminated area after an attack. Ordinary citizens can be heroes even if they are afraid. The darkness of the smoke has lifted and is gray rather than black. The young man has removed his gas mask. Some of the people behind him are not quite sure if it is safe to do so. Next to the boy is a small girl. The flower on her shirt and the ribbons in her hair symbolize hope. Her hands are raised in relief.
